FBC Preschoolers on a Journey to God: Beginning Faith Steps
Sunday School @ 9:45 a.m. in the CEC Building
Our preschool children are taught Bible stories and the love of God is shared with them by adult leaders who use age appropriate activities. Throughout the room centers are used to help in your child’s spiritual and physical development. Preschoolers are promoted according to their developmental stages until the age of two and after the age of two children are promoted yearly based on their age as of September 1. All classes are located in the Child Enrichment Center and parents need to check in at the Preschool Welcome Center with our new computerized Check Point System located inside the double doors on Popular Street.

Wednesday Night @ 5:45 to 8:15 p.m. in Child Enrichment Center
After the family meal the Child Care Center opens at 5:45 for children birth through three years of age. Parents are asked to check children in using the Check Point Computer System.
Providing a safe environment is very important. We practice the guidelines of Safe Sanctuary and have a Shepherd located at the Beeper Station during all services. Parents are asked to fill out a Registration Form and are given beepers to ensure quick communication and safe pick-up procedures. We need registration forms completed yearly to ensure updated information. All guidelines and expectations for the preschool area are located in the Children’s Ministry Resource Handbook.
Childcare is available at 11:00 a.m. for our children age three and under. Volunteers serve each week in this ministry.
During the 11:00 worship services, Pre-K through 2nd grade can attend Children’s Church. Children will begin worship with their parents and leave for a uniquely designed message. Parents can pick up their children after the service on the second floor of the Educational building. This format allows families worship time together and age appropriate sermons.
All children are welcomed and embraced with love. If your child has specific needs, please contact the Special Needs Team leader. The UP (Unique Person) Program will provide modifications to help you and your child become a valued part of our church family. Please fill out a profile to help us serve you better.
We have many special events throughout the year please check the Calendar.
Volunteers are a very important part of our ministry and have background checks.
