Music Ministry

Music is a vital part of our worship of God. Spanning a variety of musical styles, the Music Ministry seeks to engage all individuals in using musical talents in the worship of God. Adults

Sanctuary Choir (college age and up) rehearses each Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. in the Choir Room. This choir sings weekly for the Celebration Service at 11:00 in the Sanctuary and also for two major presentations each year, one during Advent/Christmas and one during Lent/Easter. No audition is required; join by attending Wednesday night rehearsals.

Praise Band (auditioned vocal and instrumental group) leads worship each Sunday for the 11:00 Connexion Service. This group also takes part in other worship leadership opportunities as they arise.

Orchestra (auditioned instrumental ensemble) rehearses every Sunday, August through May, at 9:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Both youth and adults are invited to be a part of this ensemble. They accompany hymn singing at the 11:00 Celebration Service, play with the Sanctuary Choir, and provide additional music for worship.

Handbell Choir (college age and up) practices every Tuesday, August through May, at 4:30-5:30 p.m. This group plays in worship throughout the year and for special programs. Music reading skills are strongly recommended.
