Watch your faith flourish through worship

 

Celebration Service at 9:00 A.M.

Lift your voice alongside a choir singing familiar hymns to piano, organ, and other instrumental accompaniment in our Sanctuary. If you cannot join us in person, we invite you to “Watch Live.”

Connexion Worship at 11:15 A.M.

Sing praises to the Lord in a relaxed service alongside a worship team singing contemporary music in Morgan Hall. Can’t make it in person? You can “Watch Live” on this site.

Weekday Education

Welcome to First Baptist Church of Griffin, Georgia, and the Weekday Education Program. We believe that a good beginning for every child is of great importance. In Proverbs 22:6 it is written: “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Church Mission Offering

Each year, during the month of May, we emphasize missions that are ongoing in our local community. These missions are supported through the Church Mission Offering. Learn more about the good work going on in Griffin and Spalding County that is supported by the Church Mission Offering.

Patriotic Organ Concert

We are delighted to welcome the Griffin community to join us for a special, FREE patriotic concert on Tuesday, June 30 at 7:00pm. This evening will feature guest organist, Randall Sheets, who formerly served at Arlington National Cemetery, along with a combined community choir. If you would like to sing in the choir, visit our choir page.

Dive Deep: Women's Worship and Study

Women of all ages are invited to join Ellee Hilley and Jody Singletary for a time of worship and Bible study on Wednesdays, June 3 through July 1, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Bramblett Chapel. The study will cover Jennie Allen’s material, The Lie You Don’t Know You Believe, which looks at the book of Matthew and the ways in which Jesus resisted the enemy’s temptations. While the book is not required, it is recommended that participants have the study guide. If you need assistance locating the material, please contact the church office.
