FBC Children on a Journey to God

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 6:5-7


Sunday School – Apprentice Faith Shops grades 1-5 @ 9:45 a.m., 2nd floor
The Apprentice Faith Shops Sunday School at First Baptist Church offers children the opportunity to learn in various setting designed for involvement, discovery, and creativity. This format is known as the rotation model for Sunday School. Each week children rotate from room to room and experience the stories of our faith. Children gather at 9:45 and grade level flags highlight where children will be located and the shops include Connect.com, Worship, Encampment, Creative Creations and PromiseLand Productions.

Wednesday – Servers, Singers, Seekers @ 6:00-7:30 p.m., 2nd floor
  • Servers class at 6:00 p.m. shares the stories of missionaries serving God throughout the world using CBF Mission curriculum. Children are encouraged to be a part of all areas.
  • Singers program begins at 6:30 p.m. and helps children develop a passion for praising God musically.
  • Seekers program is a unique FBC Bible education class at 7:00  p.m. to help children hide God’s word in their heart.
     

Special Needs
All children are welcomed and embraced with love. If your child has specific needs, please contact Denel James or the Special Needs Team leader. The UP (Unique Person) Program will provide modifications to help you and your child become a valued part of our church family. Please fill out a profile to help us serve you better.
